Showdown Reception – Pitches & Pitchers
March 6, 2026
The first Showdown Reception was a great success, raising $34,200 through member contributions to support new equipment at the Wingham & District Hospital. At the fun ballpark inspired event, members heard live pitches from hospital representatives for three important projects: ER defibrillators, an ultrasound machine, and orthopedic tools. Members then voted to direct the funding toward a new ultrasound machine, helping strengthen diagnostic imaging services for our community.

Members of the Future Care Collective were invited to join the WDH Foundation for an entertaining evening of comedy magic with a signature cocktail. Guests enjoyed a taco bar and learned a magic trick to take home to impress their friends.
